Walk any practice range and you'll see the same story on most bags: mass-produced covers in loud logos and thin fabric that was never meant to last a season — let alone a decade. Golf has gotten better at almost everything. Clubs are more technological. Balls fly farther and land softer. Fitting is a science. And yet the thing that sits on top of your driver is often an afterthought.
At LPC Golf, we think that afterthought deserves better.
Protection is the job. Style is the point.
A good headcover does the quiet work: it keeps your crowns free of scrapes, your hybrids from rattling, your putter face from picking up the wrong kind of marks in the trunk. Foam padding, a proper fit for modern 460cc drivers, and a lining that actually feels intentional — those details matter every time you pull a club.

But golfers don't only buy for utility. You spend hours choosing a shaft. You notice the stitching on a glove. Your bag is part of how you show up on the first tee. A headcover is the first thing people see in your bag. It should look like it belongs to you, not like a billboard for a company that isn't paying you.
It should look like it belongs to you, not like a billboard for a company that isn't paying you.
That's the idea behind every piece we make: functional art. Beautiful enough to turn heads. Built tough enough to earn its place in your rotation.
Handmade in San Francisco, one at a time
Karl didn't start LPC Golf (originally Little Prince Customs) as a factory brand. He started as a golfer who couldn't find covers that felt retro and sporty, classic and modern, beautiful and durable — all at once. After a decade in the industry fitting clubs and learning what golfers actually want, he taught himself leatherwork the hard way: trial and error, lots of mistakes, searching for the right leather supplier and listening to customer feedback.

Today every cover is still hand-cut and hand-sewn in San Francisco. Hides are selected through a Napa supplier who sources from fine tanneries in the US, Europe and South America. Quilted diamonds are chalked and sewn by hand. Argyle patterns are built diamond by diamond. French seams and classic striping get the same attention. From a collection of hundreds of embroidery threads, the right color is matched to each design.
That isn't a marketing line. It's why a quilted charcoal with ivory stitching looks different from a mass-market knit — and why it still looks right years later.
Your story, stitched in
Some golfers want a clean Classic. Others want Exotic embossed cowhide, Scottish Argyle style, or a custom monogram that matches a wedding date, a club logo, or a private joke only the foursome understands. Custom work starts with a conversation: your clubs, your style, your inspiration. Then design options, approval, and craftsmanship that doesn't begin until the plan is right.

Whether you shop a ready-made collection or build something one-of-a-kind, the goal is the same. Your bag should reflect your personality.
A cover that lasts longer than the clubs it protects
Premium top-grain cowhide. Plush or fabric linings. Foam padding for real protection. Pieces made 100% in the USA. We build for the golfer who notices quality — and who expects that quality to hold up through dewy mornings that turn into long afternoons.
If you've been living with covers that fade, stretch, or just don't feel like you, it might be time for something better.
