Handmade in San Francisco, one at a time

Karl didn't start LPC Golf (originally Little Prince Customs) as a factory brand. He started as a golfer who couldn't find covers that felt retro and sporty, classic and modern, beautiful and durable — all at once. After a decade in the industry fitting clubs and learning what golfers actually want, he taught himself leatherwork the hard way: trial and error, lots of mistakes, searching for the right leather supplier and listening to customer feedback.

Today every cover is still hand-cut and hand-sewn in San Francisco. Hides are selected through a Napa supplier who sources from fine tanneries in the US, Europe and South America. Quilted diamonds are chalked and sewn by hand. Argyle patterns are built diamond by diamond. French seams and classic striping get the same attention. From a collection of hundreds of embroidery threads, the right color is matched to each design.

That isn't a marketing line. It's why a quilted charcoal with ivory stitching looks different from a mass-market knit — and why it still looks right years later.
